@wild_run_farms GALLERY WALL
The Cottage, redux, 2015-2018
It all started with this piece, in so many ways. One, this piece was literally one of the first pieces in my very first show - see those details including how this painting began here. And two, Emily Henderson, a much admired and talented designer/stylist featured this piece in the #portlandproject, a home she renovated and styled for sale in my hometown! I have been a forever fan of hers, and so it was beyond crazy that she chose my work to be in one of her projects! At the time Emily was needing art, I had very few larger pieces on hand. The Cottage had been hanging in a very prominent place in my shop, almost as a permanent fixture. It seemed right that one of my first pieces might just do that- be the piece that never sold. I loved having it there- it literally was perfect for the space.(see pic) But at the last minute, it got pulled off the wall, one final rework and off to Emily Henderson it went, never to return! fyi, The Cottage redux, 2015-2018 was purchased by the The Portland Project buyers.

Lovejoy Medical Building, 2018.
February 1, 2018
This was a commission for the Lovejoy Medical Building located on NW 25 Ave in beautiful NW Portland, OR. This was a GREAT project! The building owners had lovingly restored a very stylish 50's office building and were wanting art that supported this style. Classic mid-century graphic form was the directive. I presented four possible concepts- this is the one they chose.
